High point of East Yorkshire 246m
Immortalised by the great David Hockney in his 1998 painting Garrowby Hill, the high point is actually a small copse next to the A166 to York!
I cannot claim to have walked more than a couple of hundred metres for this one, but the views down to the Vale of York were beautiful and I can quite appreciate why the talented Mr Hockney chose to paint it.
