The pinnacle of Northumberland at 815m and reached via a stunning valley hosting a potholed single track road. We opted to get the hard climb done first and headed up the steep side reaching the summit via the amazing set of stepping stone flags that run necklace like across the summit.
Having feasted on cheese and pickle on malted sourdough for lunch we headed down the “easy and gentle” route down through a stream which quickly turned into a bog hopping delight!
A cheeky 8 miles with a very wet and muddy hound, two soggy humans and another peak conquered.
I’m looking to raise funds for the amazing Breaducating Britain a CIC, that provides baking kits to schools, charities, prisons and other educators so please head to my just giving page if you can help.
