The high point of Bedfordshire (243m) might be at the entrance to a car park, but it does boast a National Trust cafe and, on the day we visited, a kite festival!
We were joined by my lovely sis and her partner and rather than just walk from the car park, we left the car a couple of miles away at Whipsnade and walked in.
