No 19 – Green Hill

1–2 minutes

Green Hill sits just to the north of it’s impressive neighbour Whernside. At 628m it was a boggy and blustery climb with stunning views west to the coast and south to Whernside.

Having found the summit we walked along to the County Stone which historically marked the junction of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire, but now only Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Bramble climbed this one equipped with her very own Vibram soled walking boots to protect her scratched paw.
