Silverhill Colliery 204.4m

So Nottinghamshire has brought a little contention into the whole highest point challenge with two places claiming the title Silverhill Colliery is a man made peak on the site of two old collieries and includes a beautiful monument to the miners that toiled there.

Newtonwood Lane is a natural high point and claims 204.71m. It is more nondescript in the middle of a field.

We took the belt and braces approach to this highpoint and did both!
