No 56 – Brown Willy

1–2 minutes

Brown Willy, high point of Cornwall, Bodmin Moor and our most southerly peak at 420m. We reached the peak via a scramble over Rough Tor before heading over a bog and up to a very blustery summit.

There is an ancient field system and settlement on the southern side of Rough Tor giving me the opportunity to reminisce about all the wet field trips looking at similar sites over 40 years ago!
