No 59 – Black Chew Head

Black Chew Head at 542m was our penultimate peak and the high point of Greater Manchester. Reached from a small path leading off the Pennine Way, we had forded a couple of streams on the way.

The final photo shows how beautiful this moorland can be when you can see it!

Other than wading through the streams, Bramble had the best time with grouse, hares and sheep scents heightened by the rain
