Introducing….

Kate is a baker with over 30 years experience baking for others. She started baking sourdough over a decade ago having taken a course as a “mother and son” gift. Inspired to bake for more than just family, she has been  baking sourdough breads and rolls for local restaurants, small businesses and most of her village!

Working on the ethos that baking should be fun and able to fit into a busy lifestyle, workshops are offered in the comfort of her country kitchen in the Chilterns, or in the beautiful Oxmoor Farm, both with plenty of room to spread out and relax over a home made lunch as part of the experience.

Sustainability

Bramble Bakes works to be as environmentally friendly as possible and runs on green electricity topped up by home produced solar.  All flours are milled in the UK and Kate uses her Mockmill 200 to mill all the wholemeal flours that she uses.

We aim to eat seasonally, so please expect to find seasonal locally sourced ingredients from her garden and the surrounding Chiltern Hills.

Access

Access to the workshop space is not step free. Whilst there are toilet facilities available I regret that they are not wheelchair friendly. Wheelchair accessible workshops are available at Oxmoor Farm
