Introduction to Sourdough workshops have a maximum of 6 participants so that you get plenty of attention and can leave full of confidence.
Intermediate Sourdough and More Adventures with Sourdough workshops have a maximum of 3 participants.

What is sourdough, how to make and maintain your starter
Why it is worth making and eating – all the not too daunting science!
The role of each ingredient in making your loaf
How to make your levain, dough, including stretch and folding, shaping, proving and baking

Two loaves to bake at home
A sourdough starter
Confidence to start your sourdough journey at home
What you need to bring
A jar for your starter
A 2lb loaf tin or banneton (I can supply for additional cost, please contact me)
A cotton napkin

Intermediate Sourdough
Workshop duration: 4 hours
Who is it for?
Anyone who is enjoying making sourdough and would like to explore using different techniques
What we will cover
Working with higher hydration doughs
Including additions into your dough to enrich and enhance
Adding butters and inclusions
Stretch and folding techniques
What you will take home
A full set of notes and recipes
A loaf and focaccia to bake at home
Confidence to explore more advanced techniques and recipes
What you will need to bring
A 2lb banneton or loaf tin plus liner ( a cotton napkin is fine)
